I started my management career in 1998 and I can tell you some stories.
Over the decades I have never stopped learning. When I am not dabbling in academia, I am completing industry certifications or participating in amazing mentoring groups. Sometimes I find myself in a rabbit hole of incredible publications from thought leaders such as d-school or listening to podcasts that keep me aware that Gen X is not the only generation in the workforce.
This all adds up to 27 years of diverse management expertise with workforces spanning social services, education and government sectors. My greatest joy is getting stuck into organisational and workforce growth through my executive work, board work and delivery of learning experiences.
